Free Drink Survey

Chi went in early today, so I was at Sonic at 8. I'm not usually awake until around 10:30 so I was very sleepy. I decided to get breakfast and take a nap.

I love sleeping in my car at Sonic >< teehee.

I got my normal breakfast, a Jr. Burger and my beloved Raspberry Diet Coke, but first I had to call in the survey to make my drink free.

I got a long one this time.

You can tell by the second question if its gonna be long or short.

Here's the general set up of a Sonic Free Route44 call in survey.(I've done it enough to know ><)

Pre IDcode imput:
Thank you for calling Sonic's customer satisfaction survey. We value you candid feed back. In order to complete this survey you must be using a touch tone phone and have your receipt handy. Please inter the IDcode at the bottom of your receipt followed by the pound sign.

Or somethng like that ;p

So you do that. (the first 4 numbers of the code happen to be the store number, and the code you get back starts with the same 4 numbers, Rar!)

Then you put it in and they say:
We would like to ask you a few questions about your visit to the Sonic Drive in where you received this survey invitation. Please press the button on your phone that best represents your response to the following questions. To repeat any question press the star key.

Using a five point scale, where 5 is highly satisfied, 4 is satisfied, 3 is neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, 2 is dissatisfied, and 1 s highly dissatisfied, please rate your overall experience with this Sonic Drive In.

That's always the same. Store #5288 always gets a 5 from me on the first question. Its just that good.

If your survey is short you get these two questions and then you're done:
Taste of your food or beverage. (5 woot)
The Speed of service. (It ranges from 5 to 3 at #5288. They get really busy around happy hour and are very understaffed n the mornings so its not their fault. I try for 4 when I know they can't help it.)

A long one is always changing but usually includes at least 10 questions and a part where you have to say something.
The second question is always:
What time of day did you visit this sonic Drive in?
And then gives you choices like, 7 to 11 am press one, ect.
I can never remember of course, my memory is really bad*, but they have it printed on the receipt... In military time >< It takes me forever to figure it out.


*Right so I've got a really bad memory, and people who know me will not believe at all that i pulled all the survey stuff strait memory. Just goes to show how much I do this thing ><

Anyway today was rather uneventful. I didn't get the same lady I usually do in the morning. I love my morning lady. But the girl I got was still friendly.
Morning lady kicks ass! She's always short handed, can tell its just her and the cook. So she's gotta take orders and be the carhop while also opening the store up and doing things that she's gotta do that I, as a customer, will never really know about.
I love her attitude! <3
After my nap I played some Video games until I needed a refill.

IMPORTANT!
I'm setting out the rules to you!
These are my rules that made up cause I drink ALOT.
I only allow myself 1 refill if the drink was free. Its only right to limit yourself when you're getting a treat like that.
If you pay for it, by all means go to town and get your moneys worth.
But if its free remember that it is a company and they need moneys to work.
Every now and then I break my rule if I'm dreadfully thirsty. But its not often.

Well um... that's it for now.

  1. Chi put forth an Idea today that hadn't even occurred to me.
    He says the drinks aren't really free, that I'm paying in time and information.
    And that I shouldn't worry about limiting myself.
    (I don't worry about it that much, honest)

    I shall ponder on this wisdom for now.
